ABOUT US

This motorhome was in a rental program with an RV Rental company located in Alabama. Since the owner has now retired from the business, we've decided to rent it out ourselves. You can read our story below. In addition, we have owned and operated a charter boat business since 1983. Feel free to check out the integrity of our business--http://www.crosecharters.com. We have operated out of Orange Beach, Alabama, as a member of Zekes'Charter Fleet, since the opening of that marina and the inception of the charter fleet. We have successfully helped thousands of people have a good time and enjoy their vacations while keeping our rates as low as possible during trying economic times. We hope to be able to do the same for you.
The Story of How our RV Rental Business Began
The 2003 Coachmen Mirada pictured above was our first motorhome. We soon discovered that it was a wonderful way to travel--we could snack whenever we wanted without having to stop, as food and drinks were only steps away; we had our own bedroom, with our own linens; and we didn't have to use "germ-laden" bathrooms at gas stops and restaurants. In addition to saving us time and money during our travels, it had all the conveniences of home, we could stop along the way for naps if we chose, and we had our own private quarters when we arrived at our destination. Those are just a few of the things we liked about motorhome travel.

As with many firstime RV owners, the time came when we wanted "bigger" and "better." So one day, while waiting for routine service at a local RV dealership, we looked around and fell in love with a 40-foot diesel pusher. Guess what? We bought it and put our first "loved" motorhome in a rental program. That worked great until the rental dealer decided to retire from the business, leaving us with two motorhomes to support! Thus came the decision to sell our first motorhome.

Unfortunately, just at the time we needed to sell, fuel prices skyrocketed. So of course, few people were in the market for a motorhome. So we decided that if it didn't sell, we would rent it out. Meanwhile, while advertising our motorhome for sale, a young, single mother e-mailed to ask if we would rent it to her for a weekend to take her young children camping. And then another person contacted us about the possibility of renting it for relatives who would be visiting. At that time, we still wanted to sell, but those calls gave us the idea to try to provide a rental business that would deliver and setup a motorhome at campsites for weekend getaways, week-long vacations, or extra guests. That has become the primary goal of our business--to provide LOCAL RENTALS--for those who would love to go camping, but dont have a camper; for those who just need to "get away" for a while; for those who simply need housing accommodations for guests. And our goal is to provide this service at a reasonable price and to to make it an easy and satisfying experience for our customers. That's how we got started, and that's how we hope to succeed.
