TERMS & CONDITIONS

RENTAL PERIOD
DRIVE AWAY RENTALS:

Departure: A 3-day minimum rental period is required. Departure will be from Cantonment, FL. Pickup or delivery time is between 8 am and 9 pm, as agreed upon between AC RV Rentals and renter. The motorhome will be thoroughly cleaned and furnished for your convenience. We will provide operating instructions on use of the motorhome before your departure. It will take 45 minutes to 1 hour. A more convenient time for instruction may be scheduled.

Return: You must return the motorhome on the date scheduled by 12 pm (noon) SHARP. You will be charged the daily rental rate for each day the vehicle is late or an hourly rate, based on the daily rate, for each hour it is late. Renter must call to notify AC RV Rentals if motorhome return will be late. REMEMBER—Other people may be waiting for the vehicle. Upon return, we will inspect for damages/missing items to determine if a full or partial damage deposit refund is due (See Damage Deposit Refund Policies below).

LOCAL DELIVERED RENTALS:

Delivery: A 2-day minimum rental period is required. We will deliver the motorhome to the campsite that you have rented on the day and at the time agreed upon when your reservation was made. We will perform all hookups (electricity, water, and sewer) and ensure they are working properly before we leave. MAKE SURE THE CAMPING FACILITY AND SITE THAT YOU CHOOSE HAS 30 AMP ELECTRICAL HOOKUPS AVAILABLE! The motorhome will be thoroughly cleaned and furnished for your convenience. You must meet us at the campsite for instruction on use of the motorhome. It will take 45 minutes to 1 hour. Pickup: We will pick up the motorhome on the day and at the time agreed upon when your reservation is made. Should you want to stay extra nights, please call to ensure that it has not already been reserved for someone else. If it is still available, you may stay in it extra nights at the same rate by authorizing us to charge the extra nights to your credit card. If you must depart before we arrive to pick up the motorhome, please call us to arrange for a place to leave the motorhome keys. Upon pickup, we will inspect for damages/missing items to determine if a full or partial damage deposit refund is due (See Damage Deposit Refund Policies below).
GENERATOR USAGE
You should not have to use the generator if you are in a campground. If for some reason you should have to use the generator (such as a power outage or staying overnight in a Walmart parking lot), generator usage fees will be calculated and paid upon pickup or return. If inspection of motorhome is satisfactory upon return, you may opt to have generator usage fees deducted from your damage deposit.
DEPOSITS
$250 RESERVATION (SECURITY) DEPOSIT: May pay with credit card when reservation is made or mail a check, which must be received with 7 days of date reservation is made and 2 weeks before delivery/departure date. Reservation (security) deposit is nonrefundable and will be applied to total cost when final payment is made.

$500 DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Must be received at least 7 days before delivery or departure. Damage deposit of $500 will be fully refunded upon return if no damages and no equipment or amenities are missing. If damages occur or equipment or amenities are missing, damage deposit will be used to make repairs or replacements. If cost of repairs and/or replacements is less than deposit, the remainder of the deposit will be refunded. Refunds will normally be made within 7 business days.

$65 CLEANING DEPOSIT : Upon delivery or departure, the interior and exterior of the motorhome will be thoroughly cleaned. A $65 cleaning deposit is required to pay for re-cleaning of the motorhome after its return.
FUEL AND PROPANE: Motorhome will depart with a full tank of fuel and propane. It must be returned in the same condition or we will charge a $20 service fee plus the cost to refill the tanks at the average local gas and propane rates current at the time of return. WASTE TANK: Motorhome will depart with an empty waste tank treated with waste tank chemicals. It must be returned in the same condition or we will charge a $20 service fee to dispose of waste.

NO SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE MOTORHOME. Upon return, if evidence is found of smoking inside motorhome, renter will NOT receive the $500 deposit refund.

NO PETS ALLOWED without special permission. If permission is granted, an additional $100 pet damage deposit is required. Upon return, if evidence of unauthorized transportation of a pet is found, renter will NOT receive the $500 deposit refund. If permission is granted, the damage deposit refund policy above will apply should pet cause any type of damage to motorhome, including stains on carpet or furniture.

NO TOWING ALLOWED. Upon return, if evidence of unauthorized towing is found, renter will NOT receive the $500 deposit refund.

AWNING USE: Awning may NOT be used without special permission and instruction because of the large number of insurance claims concerning awning use. If you want to use the awning, you must make arrangements beforehand.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
All deposits and fees must be paid at least 7 days before delivery or departure, including balance of rental fee, damage/cleaning deposit, estimated mileage charge, insurance waiver, etc. We accept Visa or Mastercard ONLY (a 3% card processing fee is charged), traveler’s checks, or personal checks. Personal checks are accepted for reservation (security) deposits only if received within 7 days after reservation is made and within 2 weeks before motorhome delivery or departure.
BREAKDOWNS AND REPAIRS
If breakdowns occur and repairs are needed, call us first at (850) 587-4000, 572-3106, or 572-8674. Any repair under $1000 may be done. If repairs are over $1000, call us for authorization. You must keep all repair receipts and turn them in to us to receive a refund for repairs.
ACCIDENTS
If involved in an accident, you must notify AC RV Rentals within 24 hours. A full written police accident report must be submitted to us upon your return. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your damage (security) deposit.
RENTER REQUIREMENTS
Renters MUST be 25 years of age, have a satisfactory driving record, and provide the following when making a reservation:
(1) A valid drivers license number
(2) Place of employment
(3) Three credit references
(4) Automobile license plate number
(5) Proof of insurance

ALL INFORMATION WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Complete operating instructions will be given at time of delivery/departure. The instruction will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. You may schedule a more convenient time for this instruction before the day of departure if you wish.
OWNER RIGHTS
We reserve the right to refuse any applicant.
Terms and rates are subject to change without notice. We will make every effort to notify you of any changes before the day of departure. However, if we are unable to contact you or time does not allow us to contact you, any additional terms will be disclosed at the time the rental agreement is signed.
